D/2 Safety Information
D/2 Architectural Antimicrobial is non-mutagenic, and contains no carcinogenic compounds as defined by NTP, IARC, or OSHA. It is considered essentially non-toxic by swallowing, as it has an oral LD50 (rat) of greater than 5.0 g/kg of body weight. No special ventilation is required during use.
Reasonable eye protection should be worn to avoid contact by splashing, especially during transfer of liquid from the manufacturer?s container and while scrubbing, as D/2 is a mild eye irritant. No special skin protection is required, although dermal sensitive users may react slightly to contact.
D/2 has a NFPA rating of 0 (minimal) for fire, reactivity, and special hazards. It is non-hazardous for storage and transport according to DOT regulations. It is stable, even under fire conditions, and will not react with water, acids, or oxidizers. Store at moderate temperature in manufacturer?s original, fully labeled container.
D/2 should be kept out of the reach of children and animals. Spills can be removed by wet mop. D/2 is fully water soluble, and is biodegradable with dilution. Product residues within the manufacturer?s container can be completely removed by thorough rinsing with water. Do not dispose of effluent directly into storm drains, lakes or streams. (The container can be recycled or discarded in the trash.)
It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not use D/2 for purposes other than those specified. Do not alter the product except for dilution with water as described in this literature.
